Rain Barrel Family Workshop

$40 per participant / $30 for IMAS Members

Celebrate Earth Week and complete a do it yourself take home rainwater barrel at IMAS. Be water-wise and re-use rainwater to water plants and gardens. In this workshop participants will install spigots, add mesh leaf trappers, get artsy and paint their Earth Day inspired rainwater barrel as a family! Geared for ages 5 and up.

This workshop is supported by McAllen Public Utility and McAllen Recycling Center.

Price of workshop includes materials for one rain barrel: up to 6 participants per registration. General admission not included in pricing.

All participants must be checked in and out by a guardian 18 years or older.
Workshop age requirements vary depending on activity.
Advance registration is encouraged due to limited capacity.
