About the exhibit:
Blending influences from both Japanese calligraphy and Western drawing, Mayuko Ono creates intricate graphite artworks that are both visually striking and deeply personal. Her drawings feature everyday scenes paired with flowing Japanese proverbs, exploring themes like memory, aging, and the unseen forces that shape our lives. This exhibition invites viewers into a reflective space where words and images come together to tell stories that are at once intimate and universal.
