This event is free to named persons covered by a membership level. One non-member guest per membership may receive free admission when attending with a member. Memberships will be available for purchase at the museum entrance.

Put your problem-solving skills to the test as you build your own water filtration system by layering different types of materials in this hands-on activity that shows the science behind filtering water.
Rio Grande River Fish Printing
Create your own fish print using paint and replica fish while discovering some of the incredible fish species that live in the rivers and lakes of the Rio Grande Valley.
River Ecosystem Stop Motion
Design and cut out animals that live in or along the Rio Grande, then bring them to life by creating your own animated stop-motion video with Animation Station in The Studio.
Explore the power and importance of water in a video series from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), featuring a range of topics including global precipitation, monsoons, seaports of San Francisco, sustainable seafood, oceans and climate change, and how water shapes our planet. Each video offers a unique perspective on the vital role water plays in our world.
MPU Water Education & Water Journey
Celebrate the return of a permanent IMAS interactive exhibit Water Journey that focuses on water, from its origin to the different cleaning stages, distribution, personal consumption, and the necessary actions for its conservation.
